1.Agreement to Terms
By creating an account or using Lumara, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2.Description of Service
Lumara is a behavioral finance operating system. It provides transaction tracking, budgeting, AI-powered insights, goal management, and Pack accountability features for individuals and groups.
3.Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use Lumara.
4.Account Registration
You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating your account and to keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
5.Subscription Plans
- Alpha plan: $7.99/month.
- Pack plan: $16/month.
- Billing is processed via Stripe.
- No refunds except where required by law.
- We will provide 30 days' notice for any price changes.
6.Bank Account Connection
Bank connections are powered by Plaid. By linking an account, you agree to Plaid's privacy policy and end-user terms. Access is read-only — Lumara cannot move money.
7.NOT Financial Advice
Important: Lumara is a tool for tracking and behavioral insights. We are not a registered financial advisor, broker, or tax professional. Nothing in the app constitutes investment, tax, or legal advice. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
8.Pack Community Guidelines
Treat other Pack members with respect. Do not share another member's financial data without their explicit consent. Harassment, abuse, or impersonation will result in removal.
9.Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal activity.
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others.
- Scrape, resell, or republish data from the service.
10.Intellectual Property
Lumara owns all branding, logos, designs, code, and content within the service. You may not reproduce or use them without written permission.
11.Termination
You can cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
12.Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumara is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
13.Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
